The Hairy Bikers land on Planet Rock!

Si and Dave are joining the radio station Planet Rock for a special seven-part series. From March 29th – May 10th The Hairy Rock Show will broadcast on Sunday mornings from 10am.
The loveable hairy stars known for their many hit television shows will treat listeners to features like The Nosh Pit, a first for Planet Rock, where the duo will create special recipes on the radio inspired by classic rock songs to get those taste-buds and eardrums tingling simultaneously. Think Led Zeppelin’s Custard Pie, or Poundcake by Van Halen as each week they transform a food inspired track into a delicious recipe for listeners to make for themselves.
Si and Dave’s Sunday Roast Amnesty is another feature where listeners will send in their cookery issues for the lads to help fix. From rubbish roasts to soggy sprouts, whatever the cooking trauma, listeners will have the chance to get first hand advice from the experts.
We’re itching to get started and will relish the chance Planet Rock are giving us to combine two of our biggest passions. We’re going to be in our element. Good food and even better rock music. What more could anyone ask for?

Amidst lots more features, the pair will importantly be bringing some of their favourite rock tracks to the table as they reveal their own long-standing love of the genre and explore the breadth of artists and music from Led Zeppelin and The Who to The Rolling Stones, Queen, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Airbourne, Pink Floyd, Rush, Muse and beyond.
