Firstly, the boys explore the street food capital where half a million people sell traditional Thai meals on the road. Dave and Si cook up some spiced chicken wrapped in Pandan leaves and fishcakes for the local tuk tuk drivers which, unsurprisingly, go down a treat!
Then the pair head up north to the Central Plains - the ‘rice bowl of Asia’ according to Dave! The organic farm produces Jasmine rice in their paddy fields and is ‘one of the biggest exporters of rice in the world’ – blimey!
The boys will be discovering more of Thailand in their next Asian Adventure, as they go to the ‘jungles of the far north and the beaches of the south’, Thursday 27th February at 8pm on BBC Two.
