  • I have used several pie recipes from this book and all of them successful, although the crusts aren't as artistic as Si and Dave's
    I do have one query which I am hoping you will be able to answer.
    Page 190 Cottage pie with cheesy mash
    The 100 gms of grated cheddar, do you mix it all into the mash or put it all on top
    I took the cowards way half in the mash and half on top

  • i was at the weston super mare waterstones book signing and gave you some green tomato ketchup. i tweeted you about but got no reply. really would like to know what you thought of it as im going to give some to my friends for christmas. the pie book is great even if you did not write in it what i asked. i asked for "keep on cooking" and you wrote "keep cooking" but never mind the book is fab..

  • Hi si and dave I love your cook books,,and use them all the time..but my husband has only known recently has a allergy to eggs so is there any recipe for an egg less sponge??as sponge and custard is his favourite..

  • Hi Boys, I was a very happy girl at Christmas as Santa bought me your Perfect Pies book :) Have only done one so far the Salmon and Leek pie yummmy. But don't worry lots more will be done...would be so rude not to. Hope you are both well Jen xx

  • We tried 2 of their pie recipes and my 10 year old daughter said the Hairy Bikers are the 'Kings of Pies'!!
