The boys start in Phuket where they sample an authentic Southern Thai breakfast before heading out to sea during the monsoon for a nail-biting fishing expedition in a traditional wooden boat.
Up North in Chiang Mia – the fifth biggest city in Thailand - Si and Dave shop at the local food markets where they are left salivating over a mountain of pork scratchings!
They then head further North to the mountains where the boys get a ride on an elephant – according to Dave ‘it’s like learning to drive’. After their jungle ramble they head to a remote village where they cook up a delicious Jungle Curry for a very impressed hill tribe.
Next week the boys will be experiencing some of their all-time favourite food as they fulfil a lifetime’s ambition to visit Japan. Tune in (and tuck in!) to their Tokyo special, Thursday 6th March at 8pm on BBC Two.
