  • The show is entertaining, but I cannot help to feel slighty disappointed with Si & Dave's sudden disregard for calories. During the Hairy Dieters show it was about changing the way we eat for life not for three months & then forget all the lessons we have learnt. I understand that we cannot be 'good' all the time but I think there should be some resonsibility throughout the show about when to indulge and when not to. I absolutely swear by the Hairy Dieters cookbook, every single recipe I have tried has worked brilliantly and I never feel like I'm on a diet and I've lost 7lb so far. I guess I'm on my own journey with weight loss & I'm not at the stage where I can go gourmet so it's probably my own personal issues rather than the show. ( I just wish they would've done another dieters programme ( as I still think they could lose a few more pounds (sorry)) and really help this nation have an understanding of what we are eating and taking responsibility for it. I'm rambling on now, but the show was entertaining.

    • I quite agree. I am disappointed too that calories and fat content are not mentioned but as soon as I saw Si and Dave, I realised they have put on weight again and they must have abandoned their new lifestyle. Such a shame. Good luck to all the dieters who are still trying hard.

  • Brilliant ideas for great recipes. Will be trying some out.
But was surprised that the selected beers were bottled and chosen from abroad. There are some fabulous artisan breweries now in the UK...it's a growth industry here!

  • I should love the bikers to do a cookery book for one which is not reliant on a huge store cupboard. I am a pensioner who loves cooking.
